![]() ![]() Shadowblade, witch and metamorph are some of the worse premades imo. Mages tend to feel stronger because of the abundance of spells and AOE, but have resistances and their own flimsy armor to contend with as a result.Ī good mage will almost never use their staff or wand for basic-attacks so it might be worth using a shield for durability. I customize the classes, but for example inquisitor (necro+warfare)+rogue (scoundrel with some warfare)+ranger/wayfarer (huntsman with some pyro or geo respectively)+enchanter (hydro+aero) can be a strong composition. I usually do 2 physical and 2 magickal characters. Rogues are one of the easiest and most powerful classes as well, though the premade setup isn't the best. Inquisitor is a strong hybrid because warfare boosts all physical damage (and necromancy uses physical damage.) Picture of Health and necromancy's lifesteal will make you pretty hardy too. Casting your incarnate upon a surface buffs it based on the element. Summoners are good but relatively simple. Pyro/geo and hydro/aero strongly synergize and wizard/enchanter are both good premades to tweak. Healers are also powerful mages able to freeze folks. ![]() Fighters usually end up being hybrids in my experience. Rangers and Wayfarers are hard to get wrong as long as you position correctly, since a substantial amount of damage comes from high-ground. Some of the premade classes aren't too good and most warrant some degree of tweaking. Don't try anything too zany for your first character.
